SELA welcomes appointment of new Foreign Minister of Guatemala

The Permanent Secretary of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA), Ambassador Clarems Endara, welcomes the appointment of the new Foreign Minister of Guatemala, Carlos Ramiro Martínez, to whom he reiterates his willingness and commitment to work together in favour of integration.

Carlos Ramiro Martínez is an internationalist by profession and a career Ambassador, representing Guatemala before Argentina, Paraguay, the United Nations Office, and other international organisations in Switzerland. He was also Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs and has worked in the areas of Development, Citizen Security and Central American Integration.

Guatemala has been a Member State of SELA since 1976 and has always maintained a relationship of cooperation and exchange for the strengthening of the region. From SELA we remain committed to work with Guatemala for more and better integration.
