Kingston, November 12, 2014 (PL).- Caribbean Community (CARICOM) foreign ministers will meet their Japanese counterpart Fumio Kishida for talks aimed at strengthening relations between the regional group and Japan, a CARICOM statement reported.

According to the 15-member regional grouping's joint statement, next November 15th the ministers will discuss strategies to enhance collaboration on different topics of the global agenda, including environmental issues and climate change.

The talks will take place in Tokyo as a follow-up to the first Japan-CARICOM Summit held in July.
