 Important Argentinian Mission to Travel to China

Buenos Aires, August 2 (PL)- An important governmental and business mission will travel to China in September, Planning Minister Julio De Vido announced today.
The delegation will include De Vido himself, as well as Deputy Minister of Economy Axel Kicillof, General Manager of YPF, Miguel Galuccio, and representatives from the National Commission of Atomic Energy and the Military Industry.
De Vido made the announcement at the end of a meeting with Vice President of the National Commission of Development and Reform of the People´s Republic of China, Zhang Xiaoquinag, also attended by Argentinian Foreign Minister Hector Timerman.
The meeting was a follow up to the visit paid in early June by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao, resulting in five agreements signed in the fields of agriculture, energy and transport.
Regarding the visit to Beijing, De Vido said they will discuss the involvement of Chinese firms in a hydropower project in the province of Santa Cruz, as well as prospecting and mining in the Vaca Muerta oil field.
Zhang Xiaoquinag and his entourage also met with Minister of Economy Hernan Lorenzino and Secretary of Transport Alejandro Ramos in order to advance in the funding of the Belgrano Cargas railway.
