Latin American Council of SELA elects Ambassador Javier Paulinich as New Permanent Secretary

Caracas.- During the XII Special Meeting of the Latin American Council of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic System (SELA), held in Caracas on 13 June 2017, Ambassador Javier Paulinich Velarde, current Director-General for Foreign Policy Studies and Strategies of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Peru, was elected by acclamation as the new Permanent Secretary of this intergovernmental organization, made up of 27 countries of the region, for the period 2017-2021.
